   The turtle one is not joy… I have those turtles (red eared sliders) and you have to scrub their shells with a special soap when they get infections (kind of like athlete’s foot for turtles). Even with a nicer turtle who is more socialized- he’s pissed you’re scrubbing him and he’s not smiling- he’s hissing and will try to bite the toothbrush.
   Still, it’s pretty cute when they do it, as long as they don’t bite you.

     I was just going to say that… and yeah, it is pretty cute lol…
     My turtle did the same when I put betadine on her shell, they HATE is with a vengeance and will bite your knee given half a chance.
