I could be way off, but what I got from #1 is that he dropped it, it’s now on the floor, and his back was already hurting in the first place. Now he has to bend over and pick it up which will hurt more. *shrug*
….I think you need to review your definition of irony. This is about as ironic as ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife.
