How was he able to publish this? It’s unreasonably impolite and unprofessional. Obviously, done to make him fool cool/hip/daring…know there would be people doing exactly as this site has, posting it for others to laugh at. And yes, many people hate this band, but others practically pray to them each night, so they are doing something right, everyone knows who they are (again that says something…) So Josh GROSS, you did this to follow the long-going trend of trashing this band, WOOHOO for you, you simple, white sheep.

      … Says a nickelback fan

    • AJ says:

Aww… don’t let that little article spoil your fun, girl. If you already have your tickets, go ahead and enjoy the show, anyway. Prove all those naysayers wrong (including me) by having a great time!

  2. Jarry Park says:

So they DO have a fan! Hi Lorena, nice to meet you…. tell us about yourself!

  3. Kate says:

…Thus confirming that those with poor enough taste to defend Nickelback also lack a sense of humor.

  4. Bruce says:

I agree, Lorena. Do these people not have anything better to do. I’m not a huge fan of opera, but I don’t try to be cool by slagging it. The fact is that Nickleback was Billboard’s band of the decade and have sold more than 30 million albums. Perhaps Gross is just hoping to gain some recognition by bringing others down instead of actually creating something himself. A shame.

    • Caitlyn says:

Sellng millions of albums and being in the Top 20 doesn’t make a good band, just look at Bon Jovi and KISS.

      • Bruce says:

No, but it does mean that their music is enjoyed by many, many people even if you don’t like it. I don’t own their album(s), nor have I been to their concert. My point is simple, different strokes for different folks. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t make it bad. Spend your time enjoying what you like, not putting down what you don’t like.

It’s easy to be bold (more like rude) when you’re all the way in Boise. The thing about Nickelback is that they stay in their lane. That’s why they haven’t fallen off the map in over a decade. They’re smart. Although slightly funny, this article displays some pretty irresponsible journalism. Save your rants for your blog. There are other things in this world to be pissed about.
